Chelsea’s WSL fixtures are out and here’s how the season will shape up plus a look at the other three competitions of the 2025/26 season.

The Women’s Super League season is set to begin on the 5th of September. Chelsea will play Manchester City at Stamford Bridge to open up their defensive campaign.

Last season saw a myriad of records broken by the Blues. In Sonia Bomapstor’s first season in charge CFCW became the first team to record an invincible season in the 22-game WSL era with 19 wins and 3 draws finishing first on the log on an all time point record of 60 in this WSL era.

Skipper Millie Bright became the only player to play in every title-winning season for Chelsea, that’s 8 seasons with the Blues and managed to lead the Blues to a treble winning season.

Our campaign in the 25/26 WSL season will be another one worth watching. the women’s first five fixtures include: Man City (h), Aston Villa (a), Leicester (h), West Ham (a) and Man United (a). the first international break will run from the 20th – 29th of October.

The UEFA Women’s Champions League campaign begins on the 7/8th of October. last season saw the Blues knocked out by Barcelona in the semi-finals making it Chelsea’s biggest defeat in the 2024/25 season. the coveted European trophy is in sights for the Blues looking to finally add the silverware to the cabinet. this season UWCL will follow the newly adopted league structure before the finals. the draw will take place on the 19th of September, teams already qualified include: Arsenal, Lyon, PSG, Bayern München, Wolfsburg, Barcelona, Chelsea, Benfica and Juventus.

Chelsea start their Subway League Cup defense in the quarter final round on the 20/21st of December. last season Chelsea defeated Man City 2-1 in the final to lift the cup. semi-finals are scheduled for the 21/22nd of January 2026 with the final on the weekend of the 15/16th of march.

The women enter the Adobe Women’s FA Cup in the 4th round making it the 4th competition of the season. Chelsea defeated Man United Women 3-0 at Wembley with a brace from French footballer Sandy Baltimore. this became Chelsea’s third trophy of the season sealing the 2024/25 domestic treble.

April sees the WSL, FA Cup, and UWCL come to their conclusion with an international break between the 7th and 28th of April.

The season is scheduled to end in may with our final WSL match against Man United at Stamford Bridge, the UWCL final on the weekend of the 24th and the FA Cup final on the 31st.

Currently the Blues are on a pre season camp in the Netherlands and will play Ajax in a friendly fixture before welcoming AC Milan at Kingsmeadow before their WSL season kicks off.

I am excited for this season and what Chelsea have in store for us!
